The Brief: Transform an overgrown and inaccessible tiny back yard into a beautiful additional room for relaxation and entertaining
A challenge indeed, of multiple levels in a small space. A two-level garden was created, with a ‘mezzanine’ level for a water feature. Hard wood decking and steps created the main sitting area, with a gravel planting area to the side. Venetian-style slat fencing created privacy and provided a framework for climbers. The beautiful wide shallow copper bowl was used to design the water feature, with water gently falling into the bowl and brimming over to re-circulate. Water plants soften the bowl and rendered wall behind.
